Chander Lall, managing partner of Delhi-based IP boutique Lall & Sethi, successfully reached the summit of Mount Rainier in the US in a quest to raise money for the Teacher of Ten Thousand Generations Foundation.
Joining him in the climb, which took place after the annual meeting of the International Trademark Association (INTA) in Seattle last month, were fellow IP lawyers Nick Redfearn of Rouse & Co and Charles Gielen of NautaDutilh. The trio climbed from the 3,100 metre starting point to the summit at 4,325 metres, then back to the base.
“The climb was exhilarating, though exhausting,” Lall told India Business Law Journal. “Reaching the summit was like a dream come true. The views from the top of the crater bowl were just spectacular.”
