Hylands has recruited Li Jiejun, Jiang Shuo, Yan Lin and Ma Zhankun as partners in Beijing, boosting the firm’s capital markets, dispute resolution and healthcare practices at its headquarters.

Before joining Hylands, Li had worked for Jingsh Law Firm, Mayer Brown and Jingtian & Gongcheng. He advises on capital markets with clients from various industries including energy, real estate, finance and technology.

In the past decade, Jiang has specialised in dispute resolution on investment and financing and real estate matters, with representative cases published by the Supreme People’s Court and Beijing High People’s Court.

Yan joined from Real Long Law Firm, where he was executive director. His practices focuses on healthcare, energy and natural resources, with clients coming from governments, healthcare industry parks, biotech companies, medical institutions and derivative products companies.

With 10 years of experience in court trials, Ma focuses on dispute resolution and litigation, M&A, and banking and finance. He had advised a number of state-owned conglomerates, industry associations and research institutes such as Sinopec, Sinochem, China National Agricultural Development Group, China Shipowners Mutual Assurance Association, and Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
