Hylands has appointed Tian Dapeng, Yin Yue, Cai Yuee, Lu Bing and Wang Yuan as partners at the firm’s Beijing headquarters.

Tian, who was a partner at DHH Law Firm, specialises in banking and finance, dispute resolution and asset management. He has advised on the execution of notarised creditors’ rights and contract disputes. His efforts in representing trust and securities companies in financial litigation enforcement, collateralised repo, and corporate bond disputes resulted in a cumulative recovery of several billion yuan.

Yin has expertise advising on antitrust, M&A and inbound and outbound investment. He has brought vast commercial experience since 2011 advising Motorola, DuPont, CLP Group, E Ink, Endemol and such multinational corporations to expand business in China, at the same time, representing Chinese companies to engage in foreign investment.

Cai had been an in-house counsel at real estate companies such as Country Garden. Her practice focuses on disputes in the real estate industry, corporate business and asset management. Cai has provided full legal services for many big-ticket mergers and acquisitions.

Lu specialises in commercial arbitration and litigation, non-performing asset collection and enforcement, corporate bankruptcy and liquidation. Her major clients include Wangfujing Group, the Export-Import Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Hainan Airlines, Huawei and China Aerospace Science and Industry.

Wang has been a perennial legal counsel at many state-owned banks, non-bank financial institutions and large private enterprises since his qualification in 2007. He has advised subsidiaries of the four major asset management companies in China on dispute resolution and litigation, commercial arbitration, non-performing asset disposal, debt restructuring and other services.
