The organiser of this year’s Hong Kong Arbitration Charity Ball is seeking more funds to help the disabled and support Hong Kong’s development as Asia’s arbitration centre. Organiser Gavin Denton told China Business Law Journal he hoped the ball, held annually as part of the Hong Kong Arbitration Week, would raise HK$1 million (US$130,000) this year from the 400 or so from the arbitration community in attendance.
