Peacock joins the firm as partner and head of the London arbitration group. “His international portfolio will strengthen our dispute resolution offering across the global arbitration market,” said Nick Perry, managing partner and head of the London office.

Peacock has extensive experience spanning the tech and communications, financial services and energy and utilities sectors. He brings more than 20 years of experience acting as counsel and advocate on arbitrations in Europe, Africa and across Asia.

Bird & Bird says his hire is part of an expansion programme to establish the firm as a market leader in dispute resolution and arbitration in London and internationally. Other positions that Peacock held at HSF were head of its Singapore international arbitration practice, and co-chair of its Nordic group.

Peacock is part of the 2021 edition of India Business Law Journal’s International A-List identifying the top foreign legal experts for India.
