Cross-border M&A specialist Fu Duan has joined Haiwen & Partners and will be based in the Beijing and Hong Kong offices.
Fu, previously a senior legal counsel at Alibaba Group and general counsel at Alibaba New Retail Fund, specialises in cross-border M&A and investment and financing, particularly in areas of private equity investment and M&A transactions involving US and Hong Kong-listed companies.
Prior to her in-house experience, Fu practised at Simpson Thacher and Chicago-based Jenner & Block.
