Goodwin has added a new partner, Stephen Howard, to strengthen its debt finance practice across Asia.
Howard specialises in advising private equity sponsors, corporates, asset managers, alternative finance and banks on capital structures and financing solutions. In 2020, he acted as counsel to CITIC International on its USD1 billion mezzanine syndicated term loan to Tianqi Lithium Australia Investments.
Previously, Howard was a Hong Kong-based local partner at White & Case and had a short stint as in-house counsel at Nomura and Deutsche Bank in the leveraged finance practice.
