In August, FoxMandal Little, one of India’s largest law firms, opened a new office in Kochi, in the southern state of Kerala. The new office, the firm’s 10th in India, is situated close to the city’s judicial forums and central business district. It will be headed by Shuva Mandal, the firm’s Bangalore-based managing partner for South India.
Along with Mandal, partners Kaustuv Chunder and Shyamal Mukherjee will supervise the office, which will be staffed with five lawyers as well as paralegal staff.
“Kochi is attracting quite a lot of business, and we feel there is a substantial market, numerous opportunities, and several companies in need of good international-standard legal advice,” said Mandal. “The presence of our office in Kochi is an endorsement of our commitment to offer opportunities to the people of this city with one of the most respected and growth-oriented law firms in India.”
