FoxMandal Little announced plans to open an office in London by the end of this year. The firm said it will post four lawyers to the new office, which should help attract new business and offer support to existing clients involved in cross-border deals.
Som Mandal, the firm’s managing partner, said he plans to spend up to 10 days a month in London until a partner can be found to run the UK office on a permanent basis.
The firm, India’s largest with some 300 lawyers, is also eyeing expansion opportunities in Singapore and the United States.
The London office will be FoxMandal’s first outside the subcontinent.
