Eversheds Sutherland’s Hong Kong office has hired banking and financing partner Tom Van Hoof from DLA Piper.
Van Hoof focuses on financing for leveraging, acquisitions, projects, assets, pre-IPOs and margining, general banking transactions and real estate.
During his tenure as of counsel at DLA Piper, Van Hoof advised a consortium, including Qumei Home Furnishing Group and Huatai Zijin Investment, on its USD630 million acquisition and bridge facilities for Ekornes, the largest furniture manufacturer in the Nordic region.
