Dentons Rodyk, the Singapore office of multinational law firm Dentons, has hired corporate lawyers Evelyn Ang as a senior partner in its M&A practice. Ang joined from the Atlas Asia Law Corporation (AALC), the law practice of accounting firm EY Singapore, which she founded in 2018 after more than eight years working at Dentons as a senior partner since 2010.

Former AALC directors Emily Low and Glenda Lee also joined as senior partner in the investment funds practice and as a partner in the M&A practice, respectively. Lee was also previously a partner at Dentons Rodyk. Other AALC talent joining the team includes senior associates Ng Xin Lei and Claire Tan, along with associates Rachel Tan, Ko Yuen Hyung and Joey Tam, who joined the corporate practice.

Ang focuses on private and public M&As, public takeovers, corporate restructuring exercises and delistings. Low advises on the formation of a wide variety of funds, including private equity, hedge funds, real estate and infrastructure funds as well as hybrid structures and platforms, while Lee is experienced in domestic and cross-border M&As and corporate finance transactions
