UK-based law firm Denton Wilde Sapte and US-based Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal have agreed to merge. The combined firm, which will be launched on 30 September, will be called SNR Denton.
The move follows hot on the heels of another high-profile trans-Atlantic merger, this time between Hogan & Hartson and Lovells, which took effect last month. The combined firm is known as Hogan Lovells.
SNR Denton will have 1,400 lawyers and other professionals in 33 locations across 18 countries, including the US, the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Russia and Southeast Asia.
