Hong Kong e-commerce platform Yoho Group has debuted on the main board of the HKEX. The IPO raised HKD115 million with Deacons advising Yoho Group in relation to the listing with Maples Group providing Cayman Islands counsel.
The Deacons’ team was led by partner Peter Cheng in Hong Kong, while the Maples team in Hong Kong comprised partner Derrick Kan and associate Katherine Ng. The sole sponsor, CMBC International Capital, and the underwriters were represented by Hong Kong law firm Chiu & Partners.
The IPO was launched 26 May and closed on 10 June. Yoho Group will become the second Hong Kong-focused e-commerce operator on HKEX after Hong Kong Technology Venture, the owner and operator of the HKTVmall platform.
