Singapore law firm Covenant Chambers strengthened its corporate and commercial practice with the addition of senior corporate lawyer Andrew Yap’s practice and the appointment of National University of Singapore (NUS) law academic, Tan Zhong Xing.
Yap’s practice, Andrew Yap & Company, integrated with Covenant Chambers in February and will operate as a branch office called Covenant Chambers @ Adelphi, complementing the main office in its operations.
Yap has more than 40 years of practice experience in corporate and commercial matters, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, real estate investment trusts, conveyancing and private clients.
Meanwhile, NUS law faculty assistant professor Tan Zhong Xing will boost the commercial law practice of Covenant Chambers. He previously practised corporate and commercial dispute resolution at a reputable Singapore law firm, and joins Covenant Chambers as counsel. The award-winning academic brings the firm research expertise in corporate and commercial law matters.
