Commerce & Finance Law Offices (C&F) has opened a Suzhou office in Jiangsu province, the ninth branch in China, creating a robust service cluster in the Yangtze River Delta region with its Shanghai and Hangzhou offices.

This move aims to meet the diverse legal demands of the regional market. With a team of more than 30 lawyers, the new branch focuses on various areas such as dispute resolution, banking and finance, real estate and infrastructure, and investment and financing. The team’s expertise extends to industries including the digital economy, smart manufacturing, semiconductors, biomedicine, new materials and new energy.

China Business Law Journal’s regional research on Jiangsu province shows biomedicine, semiconductors and smart manufacturing have emerged as promising growth areas in the region. Given that the province boasts the third largest number of lawyers in the country, after Guangdong and Beijing, it solidifies its position as a significant legal market.
