Following our successful Beijing conference in April, China Business Law Journal, a publication of Vantage Asia, will be hosting our CBLJ Forum 2019 (Shanghai) at the Grand Haytt Hotel on 12 November 2019, this time with the theme “Seizing Cross-Border Opportunities • Managing Global Risks”.

In the midst of many global geopolitical uncertainties, in-house counsel at companies engaged in cross-border business face formidable challenges. The CBLJ Forum will address these challenges – as well as the current opportunities in cross-border business and investment – and provide a platform for thought leadership and the exchange of ideas and business solutions between Chinese and international business leaders and legal professionals.

The one-day forum has a packed programme consisting of four morning and eight afternoon sessions. Like last time, the keynote speaker continues to be Qin Shuo, the humanities and finance observer, founder of the commercial civilization research center of China and “Chin@ Moments”, a new media company that covers economics, finance and business.

This November forum is co-organized with Shanghai International Arbitration Center, Benchmark Chambers International and the Shanghai Equity Exchange Center, in association with exclusive media partners Sina Finance and Lvdao, and special partner LAW+.

The event is expected to be attended by approximately 400 general counsel and other senior executives of Chinese and international enterprises, including listed companies and financial institutions, as well as well-known entrepreneurs and senior partners of leading Chinese and foreign law firms.
