Lalit Bhasin, the managing partner of Bhasin & Company and also president of the Society of Indian Law Firms, has been appointed as a senior adviser to the South Asia/Oceania & India committee of the American Bar Association’s international law section.

Bhasin’s 12-month term will begin from 10 August 2021. The seasoned lawyer described the appointment as “a great privilege and honour”.
The American Bar Association’s international law section has members in more than 100 countries. It also has 56 regional and special interest committees, taskforces and working groups focusing on a broad variety of international law topics.
