Asia Counsel has appointed Justin Gisz as its newest partner to fortify the firm’s commitment to serving its Vietnamese market.

In addition, Asia Counsel recently joined forces with international firm Kinstellar to expand its capabilities in the country and across Southeast Asia.

Minh Duong, managing partner of Asia Counsel, said: “This partnership is a testament to our commitment to providing our clients with best-in-market legal support … As a seasoned legal professional, Gisz brings significant expertise to the firm. His wealth of knowledge and proven success in handling complex legal matters make him an invaluable addition to our team.”

Gisz’s experience includes corporate and M&A, banking and finance, capital markets, renewable energy and real estate. He served venture capital and private equity funds, institutional investors, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals engaged in Vietnam’s investment landscape.

Gisz said: “My choice to join forces with Asia Counsel and its sister law firm Kinstellar arose primarily from a shared commitment to excellence and client service and a deep understanding of the evolving legal landscape in Vietnam … I could not be more positive about the future, which lies ahead not only for our firm but also for Vietnam as a world-class investment destination.

Jason Mogg, senior partner at Kinstellar, said: ‘‘Bringing Asia Counsel into the Kinstellar family marks a significant milestone for our group and for its development plans for Southeast Asia. We are excited to have a firm of the quality of Asia Counsel in our group and about pursuing the next steps in Southeast Asia.”
