Orbit Law Services and AMLEGALS signed a memorandum of understanding on 14 December 2020 to work with each other and share expertise.
The firms will collaborate in areas such as the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, banking laws, domestic and international arbitration, contract laws, goods and service tax, and civil laws.
The co-operation also includes supporting each other in locations where the other is not present. Orbit Law Services has its main office in Mumbai and other offices in New Delhi and Vijayawada. AMLEGALS’ main office is in Ahmedabad, with other offices in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Gurugram and Kolkata.
Orbit Law Services was founded by Ishtiaq Ali and Damodara Rao. They had worked together as partners at Clasis Law and ALMT Legal before setting up the firm in 2014.
Anandaday Misshra founded Mishra Associates in 2005 and later rebranded the firm to AMLEGALS in 2012.
