ALMT Legal has opened an office in Delhi. The new office is headed by Vineet Aneja, who was hired from Luthra & Luthra.
“All Delhi based and Delhi bound clients want on-the-ground expertise and an office in New Delhi was a critical requirement for the firm’s Indian network,” said Aneja, who brought his team of associates including Surbhi Gupta, Mohit Sharma and Vikram Bhargava from Luthra & Luthra.
“My objective and ambition had always been to lead a firm, or to play an important role in the development and growth of a firm,” Aneja told India Business Law Journal. “This opportunity and challenge is something which I had been waiting for and I’m very excited to now have the chance to develop and lead the firm’s presence in Delhi.”
