International law firm Allen & Overy and Indian law firm Trilegal recently announced plans to deepen their collaboration through the sharing of legal expertise.
As part of the move, capital markets partner Srinivas Parthasarathy will leave Allen & Overy’s Singapore office to take up a new position as a partner of Trilegal, based in the firm’s Mumbai office. In his new role Parthasarathy will be responsible for developing Trilegal’s capital markets practice.
Jonathan Brayne, chairman of Allen & Overy’s India Group, commented: “This is a very positive move for the A&O-Trilegal relationship. Since announcing our affiliation in January 2008, our two firms have been working increasingly closely together and have made great strides on India-related work.
