ACC Australia plans national conference

The 2018 ACC Australia National Conference will be held from 11-14 November in Queensland state’s capital, Brisbane.

The annual ACC event is expected to attract more than 300 in-house counsel from private and government sectors across the nation.

Over three days, delegates will have the opportunity to hear a range of topics relating to the modern general counsel, how to achieve peak performance, and implementing alternative work arrangements.

Confirmed speakers so far are former Australian foreign affairs minister and high commissioner of London, Alexander Downer, and former president of the Australian Human Rights Commission, Gillian Triggs.

A highlight of the event will be the annual in-house lawyer awards dinner, which will feature the in-house lawyer of the year award, as well as awards for the large and small legal teams of the year.
