This is with reference to your commentary on the legal market that accompanied the Indian Business Law Directory in the July/August issue of India Business Law Journal. I believe the report provided a somewhat skewed view of the market and would like to say the following:
I do not agree that there is any slowdown in the legal market. There are two reasons for it. Firstly domestically there is sufficient and considerable work for the law firms and secondly Indian corporates going overseas and outbound acquisitions have created additional and substantial work for Indian law firms.
