RDS Partnership has recruited Raphael Tay as a partner, bolstering the firm’s capabilities in M&A, corporate transactions and cross-border joint ventures.
Tay brings nearly 40 years of legal experience to the firm, having earned recognition as one of Asia’s leading M&A practitioners. Before joining RDS Partnership, Tay was previously the head of corporate, commercial and M&A at LAW Partnership, and has also worked as a partner at Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill, Chooi & Company, and Tay Kuan Teck & Son.
His expertise spans both domestic and international matters, with a particular focus on corporate and commercial law, M&A and information technology law.
Tay’s contributions to high-profile transactions include advising one of Malaysia’s largest telecommunications conglomerates on two separate corporate acquisitions.
