Shailmanyu Singh has joined Anand and Anand as a partner designate in the IP and corporate practice.
Singh, whose extensive legal career spans 24 years, initially commenced his career as a litigation counsel in the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, specialising in intellectual property.
During the past 15 years, he transitioned into in-house roles, including at P&G and Dyson Singapore. Notably, he held various regional posts and was the general counsel for Procter & Gamble India between 2014 and 2018.
Singh managed the team, overseeing all aspects of legal and compliance matters. His proficiency extends to corporate compliance, contract negotiation and drafting, as well as corporate secretarial affairs.
He will collaborate directly with Safir R Anand, the senior partner and head of trademarks, contracts and commercial IPR at Anand and Anand. This appointment aligns with the firm’s strategy to elevate its corporate practice and expand services. The firm recently established Anand & Naik, a new entity focusing on matters beyond IP.
