Tian Yuan Law Firm’s Shanghai-based managing partner Xu Ping has moved to Han Kun Law Offices to strengthen the latter’s capital markets capability.
Bringing more than 20 years of experience, new partner Xu specialises in securities, M&A, capital restructuring and overseas financing.
Xu had acted as a leading partner on Yihai Kerry Investments’ RMB13.9 billion (USD2 billion) IPO on the ChiNext, which is the biggest IPO on such a board to date.
Her other projects include Everbright Securities’ A-share debut as the first Chinese broker listing, Bright Food acquiring Weetabix, which was the biggest Chinese overseas M&A in 2022, and the backdoor listing of the domestic private-own medical chain company Meinian Onehealth Healthcare Holdings.
