The head of Winston & Strawn’s newly opened Taipei office says the firm will first focus on US-related work, but “that’s only the start”.
“Because a large number of Taiwanese-made products are sold into lucrative US markets, it’s natural to focus on preserving our clients’ positions in those markets,” John Alison, the managing partner of the firm’s Taipei office, told China Business Law Journal. “But that’s only the start.”
