V&T Law Firm has hired five partners Zhang Congzhi, Dai Wei, Mao Kai, Wang Cheng and Yang Chao in Wuhan to bolster the real estate, construction and infrastructure sectors as well as the corporate and capital markets practice.
Zhang, Dai, Mao and Yang were formerly partners at the Wuhan office of Jingsh Law Firm.
Zhang, Dai and Yang specialise in real estate, construction and infrastructure. Dai and Yang also specialise in dispute resolution matters, while Zhang – who has a wealth of experience in corporate finance, M&A and restructuring and public-private partnerships – has handled many asset transfer and restructuring projects. These include former military-backed Han Guang Photoelectric Factory’s restructuring, the smart city project of the Wuhan economic development zone, and the asset transfer of Hubei Petrochemicals Materials Supply and Marketing.
Mao and Wang focus on the corporate and capital markets practice. Mao has experience in private equity, investment, M&A, and corporate compliance and risk control while Wang, who practised at Yong Ming Law Firm, can advise on insolvency reorganisation and liquidation projects.
