Triumvir Law has assisted Hyderabad-based Nourish You’s acquisition of prominent vegan brand One Good for an undisclosed sum in one of the largest M&A deals in India’s alternative dairy industry.
Partners Anubhab Sarkar and Aakash Parihar led the team advising superfoods company Nourish You on the 100% acquisition of One Good, a plant-based dairy startup based in Bangalore.
Associates Sanyukta Agrawal and Ragini Chakraborty assisted the team, while associate partners Gagan Narang and Paras Joshi provided counsel on tax and litigation matters.
The acquisition solidifies Nourish You’s standing as a key player in India’s alternative dairy industry, as it capitalises on the online presence of One Good to expand its retail reach. Both brands will remain separate, but operations are expected to merge under a restructuring plan.
Nourish You offers a range of superfood grains and products such as chia, millet, mueslis and quinoa flour, while One Good offers vegan alternatives to butter, ghee, mayonnaise, peanut curd and cheese as well as its flagship brand of cashew-oat-millet milk.
