Syndia Liu, formerly a partner at DHH Law Firm, has joined Chance Bridge Partners to become a partner in its Shanghai capital markets practice.
With more than two decades of experience, Liu’s practice focuses on asset management, and has extensive experience in non-litigation matters and dispute resolution, including raising and issuing investment funds, foreign investments and M&A.
As one of the first lawyers to provide legal services in fund-related matters, Liu has a track record of advising fund investment companies on corporate establishment, fund issuance and other matters. Her clients include AIG-Huatai Fund Management, Soochow Asset Management, ICBC, Credit Suisse Asset Management and HFT Investment Management.
She has also acted on landmark litigation cases for major domestic and foreign companies such as Bank of China, Shanghai Animation Film Studio, Honeywell and Volvo (China) Investment.
Liu is qualified as an assistant arbitrator of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and an independent director of the SSE.
