SIAC appoints chief representative for China

Zhang Cunyuan 张寸渊

The Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) has hired Zhang Cunyuan as its chief representative for China and deputy head (China).

Zhang will be based in Shanghai and oversee the SIAC’s activities in China with the assistance of Sophia Liu, also a deputy head for China. Prior to joining the SIAC, Zhang worked in the dispute resolution department of Zhong Lun Law Firm, with a focus on arbitration.

Zhang says he looks forward to working closely and further enhancing relationships with clients and users as they jointly promote the development of international arbitration within the Chinese legal and business communities.

Leo Liu, the former Chief Representative of SIAC for China, has joined the University of International Business and Economics for a PhD.
