Intellectual property (IP) specialist Yue Weining brought more than 30 colleagues with him from King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) to join Shihui & Partners.
Yue, who will be a partner and head of Shihui’s IP practice, graduated from Peking University with bachelor and doctorate degrees in computer technology, focusing on IP protection in the electronic and electrical industry.
His legal service covers areas in computer software and algorithms, computer system architecture, artificial intelligence, communications and cloud computing, automotive and vehicle networking, mechanical structure, robot, chips and semiconductors, and others.
Yue’s team is able to advise on various sub-fields of IP protection in the electrical field, particularly complex, frontline and innovative technology patent cases.
