Pinsent Masons has appointed its Singapore-based partner, Nicholas Hanna, as head of corporate, Asia-Pacific.
Hanna will be a key member of the firm’s transactional services global leadership team, which will focus on growth, enhancing services to clients across key sectors, and delivering greater connectivity between the regions.
Hanna joined the firm in July 2020 from K&L Gates’ Singapore office, where he was a partner for six years. He was also at Watson Farley and Williams in Singapore as a partner from 2006 to 2013. His practice focuses on equity capital markets, private equity, joint ventures, as well as cross-border M&A and restructuring transactions.
The November appointment follows the London-based firm’s expansion in the region, advising on numerous IPOs and cross-border M&A. The firm focuses on the energy, financial services, infrastructure, real estate and technology sectors.
Pinsent Masons’ head of transaction Services in London, Hammad Akhtar, said that Hanna’s arrival has helped drive forward the firm’s business in the region.
