Job Description
Conduct legal research on shipping laws, regulations, and precedents.
Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and briefs related to shipping transactions and disputes.
Review and analyze shipping documents, such as bills of lading, charter parties, and insurance policies.
Manage case files and maintain organized electronic and physical records.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on maritime law or shipping-related matters.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology and concepts related to shipping and maritime law.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
