Chandhiok & Mahajan (C&M) has appointed Sujoy Bhatia as partner and head of the firm’s corporate practice.
Prior to joining C&M, Bhatia was a partner with J Sagar Associates’ corporate and commercial practice in Gurugram and Hyderabad since 2014.
“He has led mandates, teams and several internal initiatives at his previous firm,” said Karan Chandhiok, a partner at C&M. “From C&M’s perspective, Sujoy fits the ethos of the firm perfectly.”
Bhatia takes over the responsibility of heading the practice from managing partner Pooja Mahajan, who will continue to be a senior member of the corporate team. The new partner will work alongside Kaushalya Venkatraman, who is based in Bengaluru and leads the firm’s presence in south India.
