Chandhiok & Mahajan has promoted 12 lawyers in practice areas from cross-border M&A, private equity investments, high-stakes disputes and arbitration to significant insolvency cases and multi-jurisdictional merger control filings.
Saurabh Bachhawat and Savar Mahajan have been elevated to counsel, three lawyers promoted to managing associate and seven to senior associate.
Bachhawat brings extensive experience in securities law and commercial litigation, and has appeared before the Supreme Court, high courts and key tribunals, including the Securities and Exchange Board of India and the Securities Appellate Tribunal.
Mahajan will remain in the firm’s restructuring and insolvency practice, advising creditors, resolution professionals and other stakeholders on complex legal matters.
