Madhurima Mukherjee has become a partner at J Sagar Associates (JSA). She initially joined JSA as a part-time senior consultant in the capital markets practice in June 2020, following a stint as partner at AZB & Partners.
“When I quit [AZB] last year, I thought, I am done with law firms,” Saha said. “But working as a consultant showed me how JSA follows international best practices, is equitable at every level and creates a very supportive work environment. Bankers, our primary clients, only had words of praise for Arka and the team. So, I was finding it more and more difficult to find reasons as to why I should not be doing this full time again.”
Mukherjee is based in New Delhi and focuses on the firm’s capital markets and securities practice, working with partner Arka Mookerjee, who is based in Mumbai.
She also previously worked at L&L Partners and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co.
