Jones Day has continued to strengthen its global disputes practice with the addition of Clive Luck as a partner in Perth.

He joins from Clayton Utz, where he led the major projects and construction team and was head of the firm’s Africa group.

Luck specialises in major engineering, infrastructure, resource, energy and energy transition projects in Australia, Africa and Asia. He also brings more than 25 years of experience advising clients across all stages of the procurement and construction process.

“His ability to navigate complex cross-border disputes in the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors and his geographic focus on Africa align perfectly with our commitment to serve our clients’ international needs in these vital sectors,” Sion Richards, leader of Jones Day’s global disputes practice, said.

Luck’s arrival comes shortly after Jones Day added partners Matthew Critchley, Alicia Salvo, and Brendon Clarke to its global disputes practice.
