Jones Day and Peking University have joined forces to establish a chair-professorship fund to support the study of globalisation and the rule of law, with the aim of adapting findings to solve the problems of a rapidly developing China.
Jones Day announced on 31 May the establishment of the Peking University/Jones Day Chair Professorship for Globalisation and Rule of Law.
This chair professorship fund is a university-level fund managed by the Peking University Education Foundation, and will recruit professors from the university’s faculty of law.
