Following regulatory approval, Joint‑Win Partners has established a new office in Kunming, Yunnan province, and began operations. The launch marks the firm’s 15th domestic branch, further expanding its national footprint and strengthening its reach into Southeast Asia.

Senior partner Zhou Yun is heading the Kunming office. He previously served as a partner at Dacheng Law Offices’ Kunming branch for nine years, before joining W&H Law Firm as a partner for a further three years, which was also in Kunming.

The new office “leverages the Yangtze River Delta expertise of the headquarters while deeply integrating into Yunnan’s role as a frontier for opening up to South and Southeast Asia”, the firm said in a press release.

Its practice areas include corporate and commercial matters, dispute resolution, patents and trademarks, labour law, tax, corporate compliance, bankruptcy administration, investment and M&A, debt restructuring, government and administrative affairs, criminal-civil crossover matters, and family wealth management.

The Kunming office is located on the 19th floor of Huihai Building in Xishan District and will hold its official opening ceremony on 12 September.
