Jingtian & Gongcheng hires two partners, Guo Lei and Zhang Han, to bolster its capital markets practice in three offices.
Guo, formerly a partner at Senyu Law Firm, is primarily responsible for the firm’s Beijing and Tianjin practices. His expertise lies in investment and M&A, litigation and arbitration, banking and finance, real estate and construction engineering and non-performing assets.
With experience in special government funds, principal protected notes, short-term commercial paper, medium term notes and corporate bonds, Guo has provided legal services to the Tianjin branches of multilateral development banks and commercial banks.
Zhang was a partner at China Commercial Law Firm. Based in Shenzhen, she specialises in capital markets, M&A, private equity and venture capital, and corporate and commercial law. She has extensive experience in domestic and foreign securities issuance, corporate restructuring and reorganisation, corporate investment, and financing and equity incentives.
