Shihui Partners has added partners Jeff Liu and Guo Youning to the Beijing branch, while Fiona Fong and Genevieve Lam join the Shenzhen office.

Liu, formerly a lawyer with Cleary Gottlieb, focuses on private equity, risk investment funds, other investment transactions, cross-border mergers & acquisitions, and general corporate affairs.

Guo, formerly a partner at TianTong Law Firm, specialises in commercial litigation and arbitration. Guo has experience in settling conflicts over private equity, real estate, equity and corporate governance, new energy, and commercial contract matters. Numerous central organisations, financial institutions, listed businesses, private equity funds, science and technology corporations, and individual businesses have all benefited from his services.

Fong and Lam, both from Hong Kong’s Deacons, are qualified to practise in nine mainland cities in the Greater Bay Area after passing the GBA legal professional examination. They joined Shihui in August.

Fong specialises in the formation of private equity funds, including Hong Kong open-ended fund-of-funds, Hong Kong limited partnership funds, hedge funds, qualified foreign investor funds, private equity funds, credit facilities and various hybrid funds.

Lam, who specialises in litigation and dispute resolution, has experience in handling cross-border litigation, arbitration and mediation.
