Singapore independent Incisive Law has formed a collaborative association with international DAC Beachcroft, with both firms adding talent to strengthen their respective shipping practices.

DACB set up its Singapore office in 2011, advising on “complex, high-value and international risks across all lines of insurance business”. It launched offices in Argentina and Italy earlier this year. Likewise, Incisive advises locals and internationals in sectors from shipping and international trade to asset finance and employment.

Incisive’s joint managing director, Wai Yue Loh, said the tie-in with DACB would “enable us to bring further … expertise to clients across the globe”. It will “go a long way to help us achieve our ambitions for growth in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond”.

Global Legal Post reports the alliance follows Incisive cutting ties with former UK ally Ince, which called in administrators in April before being bought by UK national firm Axiom DWFM.
