Hogan Lovells has bolstered its infrastructure, energy, resources and projects (IERP) expertise in the Asia-Pacific region with the addition of Matthew Bubb as its head.

Bubb, with more than two decades of experience, brings a wealth of knowledge in closing diverse financing deals across sectors such as power and renewables, oil & gas, mining, transport, and social infrastructure. His international practice spans multiple APAC countries, and he serves a diverse client base including lenders, funds, contractors, corporates and governments.

This addition boosts the firm’s presence in the energy and infrastructure markets, particularly in the APAC region. The IERP practice operates globally, boasting 17 offices and a track record of advising on transactions exceeding USD250 billion across its sectors.

Philip Robb, global practice lead for the IERP, acknowledged the surging demand for new infrastructure and energy projects globally. He stressed Bubb’s profile and regional expertise in major project financing as a substantial asset that will benefit the firm’s clients.
