Grandall Law Firm advised on the RMB3.8 billion (USD520 million) series A funding for Anhui Yangtze Advanced Semiconductor Company (YASC), the second largest private equity funding in the industry.
Partner Li Bo, who was supervised by partner Wu Linyue, led the Grandall legal team.
In this round of financing, 22 investors were involved, including original shareholder Hong Kong-listed Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable.
In 2022, Hong Kong-listed Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable led several other investors, to acquire and restructure YASC, a deal in which Grandall provided legal services to the acquirer.
In February, semiconductor manufacturer Yangtze Memory Technologies completed a RMB49 billion financing deal, the industry’s largest private equity funding worldwide.
