Global Law Office welcomes two partners, Ma Xiaoyu and Leo Tian, strengthening the firm’s capabilities in tax and cross-border investment and financing in Shanghai.
Ma, previously at King & Wood Mallesons for nearly a decade, focuses on various tax matters, transfer pricing, M&A, family wealth management and inheritance, as well as general corporate issues. Tax matters include cases involving dispute resolution, domestic and international preparation, consulting and compliance.
Tian was a partner at SF Lawyers, a Hong Kong law firm member of the global network of KPMG, one of the Big Four. He has more than 18 years of experience, focusing on cross-border investment and financing, compliance, dispute resolution and wealth management. He also has experience in consulting both Chinese and foreign multinational companies on foreign investment, joint ventures, acquisitions and compliance.
