Hallatt has more than a decade of experience advising on financial regulatory matters, covering both contentious and non-contentious issues. Before joining Gibson Dunn, he was head of HSF’s financial services regulatory practice in Asia for seven years. He began his legal career at Linklaters in London, in 2003.

Kenneth Doran, the outgoing global chair and managing partner of Gibson Dunn, said Hallatt would be a “terrific addition” to the firm. “He has built a leading cross-Asia practice as a trusted adviser on financial services regulatory issues.”
