The Competition Commission of India (CCI), in a recent judgment in Belaire Owners’ Association v DLF Limited, HUDA & Ors, passed a supplementary order modifying the apartment buyer’s agreement entered into between DLF and its Belaire apartment allottees. The order, under section 27 of the Competition Act, 2002, relates to a 2012 order of the Competition Appellate Tribunal that directed the CCI to pass an order specifying the extent and manner in which the terms and conditions of the buyer’s agreement needed to be modified.
