Clover Holdings, a company that provides recycled and remanufactured consumable imaging supplies, has acquired TRS Group, a Chicago-based technologies solution company. TRS has manufacturing plants in Switzerland, Germany and Serbia. It also owns Periplo in Gibraltar, which holds Saakar Printing Design and Engineering in India.
Clover Technologies Group is one of the world’s largest collectors and recyclers of mobile phones and inkjet and laser cartridges. It has a presence in North America, Ireland, Portugal, Singapore, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand.
The company hopes its purchase of TRS will boost its manufacturing and sales capabilities in Europe and foster its expansion into eastern Europe.
