O’Melveny & Myers announced this month that it has welcomed Charles Wu as counsel in its Shanghai office. He joins the firm after practising for seven years at another major international law firm in Chicago. He has extensive experience of public and private M&A, private equity, fund formation and corporate governance matters.
Wu is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School, and worked on The Chicago Journal of International Law. He also holds a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science from Tongji University in Shanghai. Wu was a summer associate at O’Melveny’s Washington and New York offices in 2002.
